In addition to offering financial support to advance the work of deserving investigators, the Collaborative Spine Research Foundation is committed to guiding and mentoring grant recipients. This page outlines assistance provided to all grantees.
Project Management Support
Collaborative Spine grantees are held to the highest standards for proposal design and execution and are given ongoing support to ensure quality results and a quality experience. This support includes oversight by an experienced research project manager who will monitor the project team’s progress and provide practical assistance to help the team meet project timelines and comply with sound research protocols. The project manager also can help coordinate communication and dialogue between the project team and appropriate committee members and/or administrators of Collaborative Spine to ensure the Foundation’s high standards of clinical spine research are upheld.
Collaborative Spine grantees are each assigned a research mentor. Mentors are established and highly regarded investigators who volunteer their time and expertise. Grantees are encouraged to consult with their mentors on a regular basis.
